Judge's Comments |
---|
"I was looking for a noble, majestic, and powerful dog with impressive strength and substantial bone. I wanted a relatively large and broad head with a rather square and short muzzle. Eyes should be relatively small, dark brown and free from obvious problems. With this in mind I was ready for my task. I found that most of the dogs were well constructed, and they generally moved well. I thought some of the males could have benefited by having a more masculine head and too many of the dogs were lacking the right expression. My guess is that if you liked a dog from ringside the reason it didn't do better under me than you thought it should, was because I wasn't too keen on its eyes and expression." Mr. K. Sigurd Wilberg |
