"My thanks to the committee of LKA for inviting me to judge my breed with CC's for the second time and the exhibitors for attending a show on Friday the 13th! Overall there were some excellent newfs on show, especially at the top end and in puppy. Type, size, correct construction and movement should always be the goal and as always compromises had to be made with some of my decisions. It would be wrong of me to say the breed is in great shape, as there is a real lack of strength in depth at shows, however there were still some dogs of real quality and some very promising youngsters. Below are my thoughts on the exhibits presented to me."
