"Firstly I would like to thank The Welsh Kennel Club for inviting me to give my first set of Challenge Certificates in Newfoundland’s at this show. This society certainly do look after their judges and I am very grateful for the opportunity to judge my own breed at this show.

Sadly the ring we had was smaller than I would have liked and this was made even worse due to the huge dip we had running across it and the two poles either side of the ring where the dogs moved round, this meant I had to cut the ring even smaller and this did hamper some of the dogs on the move, especially the larger ones. Some of my decisions would undoubtedly have changed places in another ring but with that said I was thrilled with all my placed dogs and my main winners alike. Many thanks to each and every one of you who entered and gave me the honour of judging your wonderful dogs, all of which were beautifully presented."
