Judge's Comments |

"Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge this club open show, and to all the exhibitors who entered. I consider it a real honour. As in keeping with the working functions of the Newfoundland and the breed standard, I was looking for a strong profile, balance, proportion, powerful movement and of course the benevolent disposition. I was not disappointed. Needless to say that in some classes there were some tough battles but I was pleased with my choices and the good nature in which my decisions were taken. I commend all the exhibitors for the care they took in preparing their dogs for the showring which reflects the pride we have for the breed." Mrs. Liz Shears |
