"It was a great pleasure to accept my first CC appointment and I thank the Officers and Committee for giving me the opportunity to judge at their show.

I would like to thank all the exhibitors for making time and allowing me the honour of assessing their dogs. My overall view of the breed is to watch tail length, most were only just touching the hock. I assessed only one dog whose tail was long and reached just past the hock. Ears in many were rather long and the eye shape needs watching. A round shaped eye often spoils the soft benevolent appealing look. Our lovely breed is experiencing top accolades in Groups and Stakes classes at the moment from puppy through to veteran. Long may that continue."
