Judge's Comments |

"I was honoured to have a very good entry of quality exhibits for my first appointment to give CC's. Unfortunately many good dogs had to go home cardless. Post Graduate Dog class was very promising with many quality dogs and I was pushed to make difficult choices. I was looking for sound, balanced dogs of correct type with free easy movement and fit for function. I prefer to see dogs moving from a loose lead and not 'strung up' which can result in poor front movement restricting reach with the rear movement resembling a 'cycling' action thus reducing the powerful drive required from the rear quarters. All dogs were clean and well presented and temperaments were excellent. My only concerns were a number of short straight upper arms which affected the reach in front movement. Apart from a few round eyes and 1 case of entropion, eyes were good. I would like to say a special thank you to every exhibitor for your entry and was sorry I didn't have more awards to give."
