"Thank you for a good entry for Scotland in November. While rear movement has reached a ‘better than ever’ stage, I was fairly alarmed at two other aspects of construction that, in my opinion, needs attention. Front movement has become a problem – quite a lot of dogs were waving their front legs around coming towards me. This does not always show up in profile movement but it may do if things continue to worsen. Secondly was the tendency of dogs to ‘come apart’ at the loin when moving in profile. This created the effect of either an ‘egg timer on its side’ or a ‘downhill moving’ topline. Some of these dogs had loins that were too long in relation to their ribcage, while others had an imbalance between length of strides of the fore and hindquarters. Presentation was excellent, as was temperament."
