Judge's Comments |

"A most enjoyable assignment with top drawer specimens present. In the majority of classes I was able to find winners that fulfilled my interpretation of your breed standard. Although my BOB came from the bitches I felt the dogs had the edge in depth of quality. I did find mild degrees of entropian present in some of the entry. In today’s climate of perfection and the standard asking for ‘no haw showing’ I know which I find more acceptable. I just feel it is something you need to be aware of. As one expects from this breed temperaments were exemplary as was overall condition. As with all breeds movement did vary, shoulders and front action was pretty good but several would have benefited from stronger hocks. Handlers showed consideration to their charges and a friendly atmosphere prevailed. Thank you for making my day so enjoyable." Mr. Stuart J. Mallard |
